I'm of Yaqui and Cahuilla Indian ancestry; born in Spain to Air Force parents--the youngest of nine children. I was raised in Northern California, but spent the majority of my adulthood in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
I am a licensed and certified massage therapist with nearly thirteen years experience. I moved from Pennsylvania in 2014 to start my new life and practice in Oklahoma.
Graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy Master Body Worker Program, May 2005 (GPA 4.77); and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) since 2004. I am nationally certified through the National Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), and have been since December 2005.
In Pennsylvania, I had practiced therapeutic massage in employee wellness programs and fitness centers, but primarily alongside a respected chiropractic physician.
The work I do leans toward a clinical approach. My favorite modalities to work with are, Myofascial work, and Crossfiber friction.
Helping people heal is my passion.
